Part II of my Costa Rica wedding trip with Kara + Joel. Kara is one of the most laid back brides I have ever encountered. Her goal was to just simply get married on the beach at sunset. Early afternoon was spent getting ready in separate rooms with Landon Minnis (the best) on hair and makeup duty. Around 5 pm, A few friends and family joined in helping Kara make the final touches. We approached the ceremony right as the sun was going down over distant mountains on the beach.
As Kara walked down the sandy aisle with her Dad, she held back tears when she saw her Groom for the first time. The ceremony was short, simple against an intensely gorgeous backdrop. Champagne, dinner, and dancing followed along with a few toasts. We ended the night with a few quick photos around the resort. I incorporated some of the cultural architecture and evening light into the last images.
Stay tuned for Pt III of this amazing trip and some incredible waterfall portraits with the couple. A 6:30AM adventure that was one of a kind.
